Vita Partners China is currently searching for an experienced Commissioning Manager to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects.

The platform focuses on investing, acquiring, developing, constructing, managing, and operating real estate projects in fast-growing life sciences, innovation and R&D real estate markets in Asia-Pacific. The company operates within two main segments – a high-barrier-to-entry life sciences project construction management business and a specialized investment management business. Since the 2000s, the project construction management business has worked on over 200 projects in Asia-Pacific for more than 100 blue-chip life sciences and pharmaceutical companies, with many repeat clients.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
Key Accountabilities
- Work closely with the construction and quality teams to ensure integrated installation, testing and commissioning to facilitate qualifications.
- Develop the project commissioning and turnover plans
- Lead and coordinate system commissioning, start-up & turnover teams on the project
- Drive and develop commissioning plans including scheduling activities
- Oversee and implement commissioning program to ensure quality delivery in accordance to the client’s specified standards
- Coordinate to solve problems identified during commissioning.
- Lead in protocol development and execution activities for testing and commissioning.
- Technical oversight and guidance to the commissioning team
- Collaborate with Safety team and oversee safety aspects of commissioning team.
- Manage to prepare commissioning reports, review reports to ensure the commissioning reports and docs are following agreed requirements with good quality.
- Lead in change management activities during project lifecycle
- Lead in report writing/ metrics / schedule reviews
Requirement
- Recognized Degree in HVAC, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 10 years’ experience in the field of engineering and commissioning position
- Strong in communication, coordination and reporting.
- Capable and experienced in problem solving
- Experience in a similar role in building/life science/biological/pharmaceutical plant construction would be a distinct advantage
